Kaufman & Company Launches Full Platform, Uniting Ten Operating Companies and Seven Venture Portfolio Companies Under One Roof

New thekaufmanco.com marks the completion of a year-long effort to bring Daniel Kaufman’s real estate, workforce housing, and venture investments into a single integrated platform
LOS ANGELES, CA, September, 2026 — Kaufman & Company, the permanent capital holding company founded and led by Daniel Kaufman, today announced the full launch of its platform with the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. The launch is the culmination of more than a year of work uniting ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio through Kaufman Ventures, and a network of affiliated partnerships into one cohesive structure spanning residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital.
“Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology,” said Daniel Kaufman, Founder and Principal of Kaufman & Company. “We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward.”
A Single Platform, Ten Operating Companies
The new site organizes Kaufman & Company’s operating businesses into a single platform for the first time, with a shared philosophy of strategic site selection, integrated design and construction execution, and underwriting discipline carried from acquisition through stabilization. The ten operating companies now presented under the Kaufman & Company platform are:
Convivium Living — vertically integrated co-living communities, developed and operated in-house
DanReDev — Dallas-based build-to-rent, workforce, and mixed-use development, founded in 2020
DEK Builds — custom mountain homes and four-season resort communities, based in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Design Build Affordable — mission-driven affordable housing across Central and Southeast Florida
DK Homes — new construction communities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Florida Forge Development
Partners — urban rental housing in Philadelphia
Kaufman Development — AI infrastructure and mixed-use development, with more than $1 billion in value created and over 2,500 residential units delivered nationally
Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting — principal side development strategy and advisory work led directly by Daniel Kaufman
LoneStar Kaufman — commercial, hospitality, and residential projects delivered nationwide since 2022
Kaufman Ventures — the platform’s venture capital arm
Across the platform, Kaufman & Company reports more than $2 billion in project value delivered, more than 10,000 housing units developed, and more than 25 years of experience behind the strategy.
Kaufman Ventures: Seven Companies Building the Technology Behind the Platform
The launch also formally introduces Kaufman Ventures, the platform’s venture investment arm, and its portfolio of seven technology companies built to serve the real estate industry, starting with Kaufman & Company’s own operating businesses. The venture portfolio includes:
BridgeStar — the AI-powered partner portal used across the Kaufman & Company platform
Meridian — portfolio intelligence tooling
LandBriefing — a national land intelligence and opportunity tracking platform; SpreadSight — data and analytics tooling for real estate investment
FoundCheck — diligence and benchmarking tooling
ServerDomes — AI data center development
Kaufman & Company describes the venture strategy as building tools its own operating companies rely on first, then bringing them to the broader real estate industry.
The platform also confirmed its ongoing relationship with Oldivai, an independently led workforce housing partner that remains closely aligned with the Kaufman & Company ecosystem without operating as one of its ten platform companies.
A Year in the Making
The unified platform reflects a year of consolidation work: integrating financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategy across companies that had previously operated with varying degrees of independence, while preserving the operating identity and leadership of each business. The new website also introduces a public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai, giving borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information across the platform, along with Media & Press and U.S. Real Estate Journal sections consolidating Kaufman & Company’s growing footprint in national trade and business press.
“Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus,” Kaufman added. “What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents.”
