Patten Properties Hosts Builder Preview Event at Pecan Plantation for New Phase Release

Patten Properties will host an exclusive builder preview event on June 21 at Pecan Plantation, offering Dallas-Fort Worth area custom home builders first access to lots in the community’s upcoming Orchards 16A section.
The “Build + Brew” event will take place at the community sales office in Granbury, featuring networking opportunities, refreshments, and early lot selection for attending builders. Patten Properties describes the event as targeting one of Texas’s most sought-after amenity-rich acreage communities, located 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
“This is one of the most sought-after communities for Texas custom home builders,” said John Patten, CEO of Patten Properties. “With 62 new permits and 80 homes underway, builder demand is strong and growing rapidly.”
Orchards 16A represents a new phase within Pecan Plantation, featuring what the company calls high-visibility homesites with infrastructure including concrete roads, underground utilities, fiber-optic internet, water, and sewer systems. The community sits along 17 miles of the Brazos River and offers resort-style amenities.
Pecan Plantation’s amenities include two golf courses, a marina, tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, and two airport runways designated as 0TX1 and 66TE. The gated community features approximately 3,200 residential lots across 4,200 acres, with about 2,500 homes already constructed.
The community serves as both a residential development and recreational destination, with residents enjoying access to Lake Granbury and the Brazos River. Pecan Plantation operates under the Granbury Independent School District and maintains 24/7 security within its gates.
Jacob Freeman, owner of Homes By Signature, noted his experience building in the community: “My wife and I love living in Pecan Plantation, and every day we get to bring our clients’ dreams and ideas to life in the homes we build.”
The builder preview event represents Patten Properties’ approach to working with custom home builders in high-demand communities. The company has been developing projects across Texas, marketing several communities as among the fastest-selling acreage developments in the state.
DFW-area custom home builders interested in attending the June 21 event can find details and RSVP information at www.DFWlandsale.com.
