How AI Voice Cloning Is Changing Real Estate Prospecting

Real estate professionals are finding that artificial intelligence voice cloning technology is reshaping their approach to prospecting, though many still underestimate how advanced these tools have become. Nadav Boaz, founder and CEO of VoiceDrop, shared insights on how his company’s voice cloning platform is being used across a range of real estate sectors, including wholesaling and probate investing.
“You can create a clone of your voice, and then whatever you write will be spoken with your own voice, like you actually spoke it,” said Boaz, who moved from real estate wholesaling into technology entrepreneurship. “It doesn’t matter what you train it with. You can sing a song, you can say whatever you want, and then we can just use your voice and create anything.”
VoiceDrop combines AI voice cloning with ringless voicemail delivery, enabling real estate professionals to send personalized voice messages at scale without the restrictions of traditional robocalling. The platform creates a digital clone of the user’s voice, then generates custom messages that can include variables such as the prospect’s name, property address, or specific offer details.
This technology is being used in several real estate applications. Wholesalers are a significant user group, employing the platform for lead generation campaigns. Rather than relying on generic postcards or making time-consuming cold calls, wholesalers can send personalized voice messages that reference specific property details and cash offers.
“Wholesalers are doing two things, marketing and sales, voice drop helps you with both, primarily with the marketing side,” Boaz explained. “You send ringless voicemails, and then whoever calls you back, your team can take this call, asking questions, qualify them, and hopefully close the deal.”
Property sellers use the technology for buyer outreach as well. When agents have multiple properties to market, they can run campaigns that automatically customize messages based on each buyer’s preferred areas or property types. The system inserts relevant property variables into each message, making communications feel more personalized.
Specialized real estate niches have also benefited from the technology. Probate investors use the platform to reach families managing inherited properties, offering help with both the legal process and property disposition. County auction specialists use the technology to send timely offers after auction events, taking advantage of immediate opportunities.
Despite the technology’s capabilities, Boaz noted that many potential clients initially misunderstand how it works. “People tell me, so I need to record the script, and then it will change certain words. And I tell them, No, no,” he said, pointing out that users often expect basic word substitution rather than full voice synthesis.
The platform addresses concerns about deliverability and compliance. The technology achieves a 60-80% delivery rate, but factors such as unconfigured or full voicemail boxes and carrier blocking can impact results. VoiceDrop charges only for successful deliveries and provides proof of delivery with recordings of the actual messages sent.
From a legal standpoint, the technology has advantages over traditional cold calling. Since messages are delivered directly to voicemail without ringing phones, they avoid many robocalling regulations and are less intrusive than live calls.
The company’s growth reflects the increasing adoption of AI in real estate prospecting. Boaz stated that VoiceDrop is now among the top three players in the ringless voicemail industry, with plans for further expansion through SEO, email marketing, and AI-generated video campaigns.
For real estate professionals considering voice cloning technology, the primary benefit is the ability to scale personalized communication while maintaining authenticity. Instead of choosing between high-volume generic outreach or time-consuming individual calls, the technology offers a hybrid approach that preserves a personal touch at scale.
As AI continues to advance, the difference between synthetic and real voice communication is narrowing, indicating that voice cloning may become a standard tool in real estate prospecting alongside established methods like direct mail and digital advertising.
