Custom Builder Royal Texan Homes Partners with Star Furniture for Exclusive Furnishing Services

Royal Texan Homes, a Montgomery County-based custom home builder, has announced an exclusive partnership with Star Furniture that will make the century-old retailer the sole furnishing provider for the company’s luxury homes.

The partnership will begin with staging showcase homes in the High Meadow development in Magnolia, Texas, as well as model homes in communities developed by Patten Properties. Royal Texan Homes recently broke ground on a new showcase home in the Montgomery County acreage community High Meadow West, with completion planned for late summer 2025.

Founded in 2014 by Mark Garraty, Royal Texan Homes has built its reputation on historically inspired architecture combined with modern construction techniques. The company recently earned recognition as one of Texas’s most awarded custom home builders, taking home four prestigious awards at the Texas Association of Builders 2024 Star Awards.

Royal Texan Homes distinguishes itself through innovative project management, limiting each project manager to just five homes simultaneously to ensure superior communication and attention to detail. The company also operates a 3,600-square-foot in-house design studio in The Woodlands, where professional designers work with clients to select finishes and fixtures.

The builder specializes in a wide range of architectural styles, from Modernist pieces and Craftsman classics to Mediterranean, French, and English Manor homes. Royal Texan Homes is a member of both the Greater Houston Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

Since its founding, the company has grown to deliver over 40 unique custom homes annually, building throughout the Greater Houston area, Montgomery County, Conroe, and Huntsville. The partnership with Star Furniture, which has served Texas families since 1912, will be officially unveiled in June 2025.
